Since we officially launched ZOEY back at Channel Live in September 2019, a lot has changed. But even in the midst of the largest economic upheaval for over a generation, we could not be prouder to see how the business has flourished in just 12 months.
ZOEY’s first year
Cloud-based, packed with self-serve functionality and legacy-free, we built ZOEY from the ground-up to address the challenges and frustrations that Channel resellers face. ZOEY has already gained significant traction in such a shifting industry – one that we will continue to transform – and is the most intuitive carrier-grade billing platform available to UK and international Channel resellers.
Already, ZOEY has been recognised for its quality, having been shortlisted for Best Billing Platform at the upcoming CNA awards, and Tekton has also been named as Cloud Services Vendor of the Year finalist at the 2020 CRN Channel Awards. While these nominations are a reflection of the quality of our product, they also recognise the breadth of knowledge and experience across our team.

Demand has been so high that we now bill millions of pounds each month, with our partners’ customer bases ranging from 50 to 50,000 individual users. We’re also seeing a consistent stream of new partners that are seeing the clear benefits of ZOEY over other market alternatives; a testament to us having established Tekton as a significant competitor in the Channel.
Innovation has always been at the forefront of our business, designing ZOEY to disrupt the billing industry, and now we’re ready to take it to the next level. We’re constantly developing new updates to the platform, so that we ensure our partners have every feature they may need or want, to provide the best possible billing experience for their customers.
Looking to the future
Our ongoing development process has provided consistent and regular updates, with the most recent iteration of ZOEY bringing new commission management abilities to ZOEY. The new Commissions Module is ideal for operations now working remotely; not only enabling team leaders to efficiently manage staff commission, but also providing real-time visibility for sales agents too, so they can track their own progress over time and stay motivated.
This new module joins the extensive list of reseller-focused features that have made ZOEY such an attractive proposition for resellers, including an intuitive end-user interface, automatic CDR processing and broad API integrations with DWS, Zest and Cellhire. What’s more, our broad self-serve functionality, white labelled customer portals, bulk change functionality and improved system-wide visibility of transactions through customer account reviews and usage summary reporting only further enhance ZOEY’s comprehensive feature-set.
This rich feature set is absolute proof to how we respond to the needs of our partners and market forces, while also using our team’s initiative to design improvements, iterate on the platform and add greater value for our partners and their end-users.
We certainly could not have managed this, and seen such amazing growth over the last year, if it wasn’t for our team. Our staff understand the needs of resellers and billers alike, with many having previously worked for the likes of Union Street, FluidOne, EE and Citycom.
Looking to the future, we’re already enjoying the recent upgrade to our office space, which now provides a better, Covid-secure workplace for our staff. It has also enabled us to triple our headcount and we can’t wait to start welcoming more of our partners down for training. Given the recent surge of interest, we couldn’t have chosen a better time to invest heavily in our team, while making the right preparations to develop the business even further.
