About Tekton Billing

Tekton is an Ancient Greek noun that refers to a craftsman; in particular a builder, teacher or engineer.

Our name is a reference to our journey.

Tekton Billing is an independent, privately-funded family-run business, born out of the frustrations of a wholesale telecoms billing team that thought ‘there must be a better way to bill in the 21st Century’.

All parties had a common goal; to create an innovative, exciting and market leading telecoms billing system that revolutionises the industry.

Terry McKeever

Chairman

Terry boasts a wealth of experience spanning the financial and telecoms sectors, with impressive roles at Prudential Corporation, Cable and Wireless, and Colt Telecom. At the latter two, he held the position of UK Director for Indirect Channels.

In recent years, Terry has channeled his entrepreneurial spirit into multiple successful ventures. Notably, he founded Totility Ltd in 2005, eventually selling it to Maintel PLC in 2011.

Terry has continued to remain involved in the Telecoms sector in an advisory capacity. He has a passion for people, customer service and market differentiation.

Privately, Terry has a keen interest in cars, art, family and travel, often choosing to combine all four whenever possible!

Harry McKeever

Managing Director

Harry, a University of Warwick graduate and an ACA chartered qualified accountant, embarked on his career in financial services at Deloitte. His role involved orchestrating audits for numerous FTSE 100 and FTSE 250 clients.

Transitioning into the dynamic realm of IT and Telecoms seven years ago, Harry brings extensive knowledge of the reseller channel, having previously overseen and successfully sold a mobile reseller business, Jutel.

As the founding member of Tekton Billing, Harry personifies drive, passion and ambition. His expertise in financial management, business growth, and forecasting has been pivotal in fuelling the company’s rapid and strategic expansion.

Outside the corporate sphere, Harry is an avid gym-goer and fitness enthusiast!

Charlie McKeever

Director

Charlie, an Economics graduate from the University of Bath, embarked on his career in sales and marketing, primarily within the FMCG industry. This role provided him with valuable exposure to all facets of the marketing mix.

In his subsequent career move, Charlie transitioned into a customer-facing role at Jutel, a well-established wholesale telecoms reseller. Here, he assumed a leadership role in Sales and Account Management, becoming an expert in using the Zygo Enterprise Billing system. 

Charlie has become a pioneer for change, driving the technical development of our 21st century telecoms billing software, ZOEY.

Beyond his professional endeavours, Charlie likes to spend his Saturday’s at Selhurst Park as a keen Crystal Palace season ticket holder!

Brett Harvey

Head of New Business

Brett joined the Tekton Billing team with a wealth of telecoms billing experience spanning over two decades.

His journey began at Oak Innovations and continued for more than a decade at Union Street Technologies. Brett plays a pivotal role in Tekton Billing’s growth by warmly welcoming new customers to our platform, ZOEY.

He is responsible for ensuring a seamless onboarding experience and developing new tools to empower our partners to optimise their profit margins.

A keen outdoorsman, Brett can usually be found trekking across the South West’s vales and valleys at the weekend or paddling his kayak.

Danny Armstrong

Head of Service Delivery

Danny boasts an impressive telecommunications career spanning over two decades. With valuable experience at renowned companies like Vodafone, Alternative Networks, and Maintel, he has honed his expertise in various roles.

Some standout achievements in Danny’s career include overseeing and approving a monthly invoice run exceeding £3 million, spearheading the development and maintenance of a Tariff Analysis tool for Vodafone, which served a customer base of over 1.5 million subscribers, and playing a pivotal role in introducing processes and quality assurance for a global management information system used by multinational corporations.

Outside of work, Danny can be found cycling up steep hills, going to loud gigs, not reading enough books and making a mess in the kitchen!

Sam Clarke

Head of Product

Sam has over 30 years’ experience in the business of developing, modifying and implementing Billing and Customer Care software in the telecommunications and associated industries. Sam was involved in the original development of the Customer Care, Subscriber Management and Billing system for the Cellular Telecom Group. After the group was acquired by Intasys Corporation in 1995, Sam was instrumental in the growth of the company – which at its peak covered 6 offices in 3 continents.

In 2003, Sam joined Zygo to recruit and lead an in-house development team to create a next generation Billing and Customer Care System, a tailored product to provide innovative solutions to the challenges within the convergent MVNO/reseller market.

Sam is an enthusiastic hobby traveller, currently trying to visit every European country in his spare time!
