It’s back to business as usual for Tekton

After over a year of remote working, it is with great pleasure that we can announce that the entire team is now back in the office, enabling the team to collaborate in person and get back to business as usual!

Since the lockdown prompted us to adopt a work from home strategy, the team has grown with multiple new starters on-boarded remotely and we couldn’t be prouder of how the team – old and new – coped through the challenges of working from home. Here are some of the highlights we’ve already had since getting back to the office.


New starters

As part of our continuing recruitment drive, one of the newest members of the team, Ben Holmes, started remotely in January.  With many years of experience at Trinity Maxwell and a super-approachable personality he’s slotted into the team so well, even considering the challenges of starting a new job from home.

Now, he’s finally been able to meet the team and get to know everyone individually which has been wonderful, and we can’t wait to see how he develops over the coming years in his role as a Billing Administrator.

“Everyone at Tekton has been so welcoming and friendly, and I’ve loved actually meeting the team for the first time face to face, though it’s a shame there’s no more hiding behind the camera!” Ben


A change of pace

Khareana Southam, one of our “veterans”, with over 10 years channel experience has relished the return to the office for an entirely different reason. As a mother of two, she describes the last year or so as ‘challenging to say the least’. But getting to spend time in the office is a much-appreciated change of pace for her, now able to flee the ‘carnage’ instead of having to work from home while keeping one eye on two mischievous children.

“It’s so peaceful! I didn’t realise how much I missed it until the first day back. Plus, it’s been great to catch up with everyone and swap our crazy lockdown stories.” Khareana


Perfect timing

On the opposite side of the fence, Sonny – part of the Billing Migration team loved having extra time to spend at home and progress with the purchase of his new house. The return to the office couldn’t have come at a better time considering Sonny managed to exchange the day before we came back to the office.

“I can’t wait for the move and making a new home for us – albeit I am not sure my DIY skills are quite up to scratch yet.” Sonny
